One the my favorite things to do for my travelers when I take them abroad, is to offer enrichment opportunities for them. I will be leading a World War II and D-Day tour this June 2024 to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy. We will be visiting England, France, Germany, and Austria. In order for me to prepare my students and even adults who will be traveling, I worked with my school’s librarian to come up with an amazing suggested reading list. This list of 19 books covers a ranges of topics and age groups and is a great way to deepen your travelers’ knowledge on the subject of World War II.
