MY STORY.

I DO BELIEVE IT IS TIME FOR ANOTHER ADVENTURE

HELLO!

My name is Betsy; I am a history junky and a world traveling addict. I have had the privilege of traveling to 49 countries, 6 continents, and I have lived abroad in England, Czech Republic, and Malaysia. For the past 23 years, I have taught history within the four walls of traditional classrooms either here within the United States or abroad.

During these years, I have done everything within my power to make history come alive for my students. Within my classroom, they have been transported to the trenches of WWI or to the immigration lines at Ellis Island. Sadly, over the years, the four walls of my various classrooms continued to limit my students ability to fully experience history for themselves.

Fortunately, this conundrum inspired me. If I was unable to fully bring the world to my students, I would bring my students to see the world. I would be the TEACHER WHO SHOWS MY STUDENTS THE WORLD through student travel!

For the past 12 years, I have given my students the gift of travel. Always seeking to make history come alive, I have been blessed to show my students the world. From adventures such as snorkeling with penguins in the Galapagos Islands and surfing in Australia, to the sacred moment of admiring Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel or experiencing the humbling silence of standing inside the gas chambers of Auschwitz, my students’ eyes, minds, and hearts have been opened and forever changed.

It continues to be my passion to create engaging lessons and student travel opportunities that inspire curiosity through experiential learning, regardless, of whether or not those experiences are within four walls of a classroom or beyond .

If you would like your classroom to “come alive” and you would like to go beyond the 4 WALLS OF YOUR CLASSROOM, let me show you how!

If you want to learn how to lead a trip I would love to connect with you and help you show your students the world!
